Haplogroups

Not in the biological term. I'm refering to subgroups of people that socially share an activity. I perform salsa, that's my hobby, also watch spanish freestyle rap competitions. Both of those groups felt hermetic to me, there's a clear division between people that participate on these clades. I can imagine other instances of this, I know there's the world of boxing, the world of photography, paintings, if getting technological there exist the bearblog(in which I inspired the style for this blog). As humans, we want to throw our DNA as furthest as possible into the future. For males, this could mean, using a very reduccionistic and Freudian view, getting offspring; in self-conscious, social animals, status seeking behavior is necessary, there is a need to be percieved as a good prospect in relation to other options (in humans this is how we interpret the world according to Relational Frame Theory), there are two ways of how to rank individuals, intra-sexual selection or inter-sexual selection. A good example of inter-sexual is the peacock; intra-sexual, antler. I think humans do intra-sexual selection: gain status in a specific group in contrast to let the female decide. So, all these variety of groups are small clades that males use to gain status and the benefits of it. This can be observed in the haplogroups previously mentioned, people competing there are primarily men, and men are the most engaged/passionate fans, by default the distribution is very skewed.

Recently I have seen good examples of product market fit not only with male customers. PlatziConf is diverse enough to attract a balanced population. FMS(Freestyle Master Series) recently introduced Azuki and this had great effects on the new public, previously Lokillo also had a similar effect, back in 2018 there were a more balanced proportion maybe because the main rappers were less vulgar. In anime, SNK has a ship between male characters, this could attract female audience. You get new users by a friend recommendation, is very social, when the audience is more balanced, the total market cap that you can get is higher.
